“ Food serving size is generous this can feed up to 3 people. Some of the photos on here show combo plates however they do not have them. You have to purchase each dish individually. ”
“ Food is always fresh and quality is so good. I tried their lunch combo and I can feel freshness of it ”
“ I was pleasantly surprised with this little canteen/cafe type restaurant. It's is NOT fast food, definitely made to order as everything we ordered came out steaming hot a totally delicious. Chicken Tikka was fresh tasting and looked like a homemade sauce, dosa was perfectly crisp and light. Puri Chana was absolutely delicious as were the idli. I wasn't to crazy about their chutneys though, they were a bit bland although the Masala was wonderful. Staff were patient and super helpful too ”
“ I just love these little mom and pop eateries! I did a walk in - take out order for palak chana (spinach with chickpea!), it was veg day for me, and it did not disappoint. You may have to wait for your order but it is SO worth the wait. Probably the most delicious palak chana that I've ever had, a bit of heat to it and it was piping hot and comes with a second container of rice. While I was waiting, I ordered some of the samosas in the case. There was some cabbage? and maybe other veg in there. It was so delicious and held my appetite when I was waiting for my entree. Waiting 20 min in my car I popped back in and my order was ready. The palak Chana was hot and had some spice to it! Delicious! Be sure to grab a utensil by the cashier. The portion was a decent size that I had enough for lunch the next day. I would come here again no doubt for lunch if I'm in the area! ”
“ We were a party of 5 and dined in. It's kind of a divey, no frills place. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you and then bus the table at the end. Pretty much a hole in the wall but the food here is good, very good; about what you expect a hole in the wall to be. The "grown-ups" food was damn good as already stated. We had a few items and they were spot on. The portions are nice and generous as well which makes for a great value given the prices. The kids food on the other hand, they were out of cheese (we wanted a cheese dosa) so we asked for something not spicy for the kids and were told the potatoes were not spicy but they were. Kids made do with them anyway with water. Trying to get to-go containers for our left-overs was also a bit of an adventure that was not fun. If you go here, temper your expectations on the service aspect of things. We really enjoyed the food so will likely be back. ”
“ I order the same two dishes every time and haven't been disappointed yet. Vegetable biryani and samosas. The veg biryani rice is super spicy so need to be ok with that, I've never been given the option to modify spice level. Full of flavor and consistent every order. ”
“ I really loved the puris here. I came here on Tuesday and the food was yum ! They have a really nice South Indian breakfast, it is a clean restaurant located in Frisco. The puris were nice and fresh and warm, it came with a watered down potatoe curry, and these amazing peanut chutneys and a tomatoe sweet and spicy chutney. I give 4 stars because they didn't have dosa, apparently the dosa guy was unavailable. My cousins and I drove 35 minutes for dosa and we couldn't get them, it was disappointing. Although, we were so hungry we ordered the next best thing which was puris. I would come back again. ”
“ This place rocks! I'm a huge fan of Indian food and I'm happy to have found a South Indian restaurant close to my home! The restaurant is a bit on the small side, but the food is very delicious! We ordered two masala dosas, paneer tikka masala and a vegetarian thali. All of the food came out within a reasonable amount of time and all were hot and fresh. The complementary chai tea is very tasty and is a nice touch! I also like that they open earlier on weekends, masala dosaand idlis make a great breakfast. I will definitely be back to enjoy more dosas. Update: My hubby convinced me to give this place one more try. We stopped in and to our surprise they were more offerings on the menu! There are new desserts such as cakes and pastries on the menu. They are also offering Chaat from Maharaja Chaat in the front left corner of the restaurant. If you love dosas like I do, every Thursday night they offer all-you-can-eat dosas with 13 different kinds of Dosas to try! The food we ordered today was fresh and tasty, it did take a bit to come out, but it was good! We will be back. ”
